Sometimes coming to therapy can seem like you must’ve done something wrong or simply cannot handle life. Not always the case. Sometimes we need more resources for our toolboxes. Sometimes we experience a tragedy that knocks the breath out of us . Other times we need a compassionate ear to hear us out. I personally know what all of those feel like.

I know first hand what it is like to sit in front of a stranger and trust them with my story. That’s what I feel I am a holder of peoples stories as we sit together to understand the puzzle pieces that make you uniquely YOU as you search for healing.

I have been working in the counseling field for about two years now. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, addiction and recovery. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in professional counseling from Liberty University. I enjoy working with people and seeing them reach their full potential.

I approach therapy from a solution focused lens which sees you the client as the expert. My job is to listen to what and whom is important to you to discover what’s going well in your life what’s worked in the past and come along side you and help you reach your full potential. I’ve also used DBT, CBT, and emotionally focused therapy as well.

Personally, I have been married for 17 years and have three beautiful children. I’ve lived in WV for 17 years but grew up in Kentucky and I have a strong love for my home state.
